School trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre and LEGO® Education work in partnership to deliver high quality educational experiences.
They offer well designed, age appropriate workshops that support the educational curriculum.
The lessons are designed to bring maths, science, engineering and language to life and encourage skills in communication, collaboration, critical-thinking and problem solving.

Workshops range from SEN learning to Key Stage 2
Various curriculum links, including
Developing language skills by using imagination to create a story out of LEGO DUPLO; exploring forces and motion by creating a LEGO catapult; and introducing computing skills by creating a LEGO robot an bringing it to life!
As well as staff-led workshops, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre also provide suggested activities for teachers to lead in their own time using attractions within the centre to fill the day with educational play. These exercises use worksheets which can then be used for continued learning back in the classroom.
School visits start from £4 per child, with one free teacher ticket for every 5 pupils. Workshops can be added to a visit for just £2 per child. Trip reservations can be made online and payment is only due 10 working days before the visit.
LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground. It is designed specifically for children aged 3-10 years to enjoy – everything is child sized! As well as millions of bricks, there’s a 4D Cinema, Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, LEGO City: Forest Pursuit Driving School… and more!
For schools, there are educational activities and workshops available that reflect the national curriculum.
By collaborating with LEGO Education they have created a wonderful balance of learning and fun!
Located in Barton Square, within intu Trafford Centre.
Cars and coaches can park on the Barton Square car park which is situated right outside the attraction. This is accessed via the road between the Trafford Centre and Event City.
The attraction is wheelchair friendly and accessible toilets are located in the attraction.
There is a Changing Places facility.
Schools can request an area to eat lunch at the centre.
